| Cooperative awareness camp organized at Kishtwar | | | DODA, SEPTEMBER 10 :
One-day cooperative awareness camp was organized at Kishtwar yesterday was presided over by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kishtwar, Miss Mandeep Kour. Prominent citizens, cooperators, farmers and officers of different departments of block Padder, Marwah, Warwan, Chatroo and Kishtwar participated.
Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies (Agri), district Doda apprised the participants about the cooperative movement in the district as well as schemes of poultry, dairy under NCDC/ venture capital and L.P. Gas under NABARD scheme while District Audit Officer Cooperative Societies, Assistant Executive Officer, KVIB and Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer Kishtwar also spoke on the occasion. Prominent citizens, cooperators and farmers also apprised their problems faced by them and also gave their valuable suggestions for redressal.
In her presidential address, the SDM appreciated the role of Cooperative Department for organizing the awareness camp and making people aware about various schemes. She stressed the farmers to take maximum benefits of the schemes. He stressed the department that such awareness camps may be organized at panchayat level so that rural masses can be made aware about the schemes and implement the schemes with dedication. |
