Pakistan Government has condemned the serial blasts in Delhi and it has described those involved in it as "enemies of humanity."Pakistan President,Asif Ali Zardar,and the Prime Minister,Yousuf Raza Gilani have expressed shock and grief over the loss of precious human lives' Sweet words from a nice neighbour which has exported terrorism to India in a greater measure that grapes and pomegrenates.For about 20 years agencies in Pakistan have been exporting more grenades than pomegrenates to India.Besides exporting guns and grenades these agencies have started exporting the technology required for improvising or for manufacturing low and high intensity explosives.Those who plant these bombs in tiffin boxes,one bicycles or in dustbins know the technique of causing the explosions either through the remote control devices or through cell phones or by tying the explosives to the integrated circuit.
Terrorists no longer have confined their activities and operations to Jammu and Kashmir only.They have extended their activities to various Indian cities and towns.And since 1996 they have not forgotten to target the union capital thereby telling Delhiwallas that their capital is not safe.Since 1996 Delhi has witnessed 11 incidents of serial blasts,including the one that took place on the eveing of Saturday.In these incidents more than 115 people lost their lives and over 400 were injured,scores of them having been maimed.And during all these happenings leaders in Pakistan have been in the forefront of those seen breast beating over the loss of human life.We should be grateful to Pakistan for trying to comfort the bereaved families and for expressing solidarity with a Government that feels India's security under severe threat.One would have appreciated Islamabad had it decided to take in hand measures that were required for preventing export of terrorists,weapons,explosvies and the technology for bomb manufacturing.
Islamabad presumably has come to believe that India cannot check it.It cannot find a solution even when the intelligence agencies keep on sending reports on possibility of bomb blasts or terrorist strikes here or there.It can do nothing when the Indo-Pakistan,Indo-Balgladesh,Indo-Nepal and India-China borders are porous.Terrorists trained in Pakistan do cross into the Indian states from not only Pakistan and occupied Kashmir but from across Bangladesh and Nepal.Leaders of various militant outfits and senior commanders of rebel outfits,holding the Pak passports and visa,fly to Nepal fromwhere they cross into India.In Nepal agencies aiding and funding terrorism have taken on rent flats and houses which are used as hideouts for Pak trained militants.A large number of mosques have come up in the only Hindu country in the world which are used as meeting places for militants and their commanders.
No need to panic even when serial blasts cover one state or the city after another. Why So ? Please appreciate the plan of the Indian Government.It immediately orders high or red alert in other states.Its intelligence and security sleuths succeed,in some cases,in identifying the killers.Some are arrested while others are tried for no fault of theirs.The game goes on.Pakistan President continues to say wait for good news on Kashmir.Thank God he did not say wait for good news on India.Had he said so he would have been blamed folr the Delhi serial blasts.If not anything else the world community needs to help India in tackling the menace of terrorism in the context of reports indicating that agencies across the LOC were imparting training to groups of youths in the camps for raising the level of violence in Jammu and Kashmir soon after the schedule for the Assembly election, was announced.Get ready for bigger surprises and for high and red alerts. |
