| JKAACL organizes ‘Kahani Goshti’ | | | Early Times Report Jammu | Sept 16
On the consecutive day in the connection with the celebrations of the Hindi Divas, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) organized a Kahani Goshti at K.L Saigal Hall here today, while noted Hindi writer, Prof. Ashok Kumar presided over the function. In his address, he threw light on the Hindi literature being written in J&K after independence. He also codes the names of the prominent Hindi writers of J&K state and highlights the contribution of the streamline short story writer with reference to J&K. he also appreciated the creation of all three story writer who read their story in the today program. Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, JKAACL in her welcome address stressed that the writers should not hesitate to write and reflect about the contemporary problems being faced by the society, as the literature does not reflect the society’s problems but also criticize and give the right direction as a mirror. In view of the promotion and propogation of theHindi Academyhas been organizing a young writer workshop so that budding talent and their creativity to be given a opportunity and a platform, she said. Neeru Sharma, Editor Hindi shyeeraza conducted the proceedings and also presented the vote of thanks to all the guests. Yogita Yadav prominent poet and short story writer read the short story in an impressive manner namely Grah Tal Gaye which reflected about the blind faith of some sections of the society. The other short story namely Gangotri was read by Bimlesh Sckwetu in a melodious style, which mesmerized the audience. The story reflected about the exploitation of the young and beautiful beggar. |
