| BSF jawan injured mysteriously along IB | | | Early Times Report Jammu | Sept 16
A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was struggling between life and death in Government Medical College hospital after he was critically injured in mysterious circumstances at Chamlayal in Samba sector of International border, this morning. BSF sources told that the BSF jawan of 91 Battalion identified as Head Constable RN Sawant Rai resident of West Bengal was on guard duty when he suddenly fell down from the post he was guarding and got injuries. He was shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) for specialized treatment. However, some of the colleagues of the injured jawan said that it was a case of attempt to suicide. According to them Rai had some domestic problem which forced him to make an attempt to commit suicide. However PRO BSF inspector Sheetal Singh told that a bullet hits a jawan of 91 battalion of BSF at Chamlayal Border Post injuring him critically. He said that the injured jawan was immediately shifted to Hospital.He denied the reports of any firing from across and said this is purely accidental fire. |
