| 11 cases solved,Rs 20 lakh recovery made,14 arrested within 15 days:SSP | | | Early Times Report

At least eleven cases have been solved with in fifteen days besides twenty lakhs rupees have been recovered from the eight accused,this was stated by the SSP Jammu Manohar Singh in a press conference here today.Counting the achievements of the Jammu and Kashmir Police SSP said that it was a drive against the increasing criminal activities that with in fifteen days in Jammu district police has able to reign the criminal activities.In order to clean the image of police which was tarnished during the agitation and to make the people aware about the militancy he said various police public meeting was held and the response was overwhelmed.Narating the one by one details of the police achievements he said that nine burglars were held under the jurisdiction of SP South Mubisher Latiffi.Police team led by incharge police post Narwal, Parvez Sajad,SHO Bagh-a-Bahu Wahid Giri,SHO Channi Himmat Shakti Sharma under the jurisdiction of SDPO East Sandeep Mehta conducted a series of raids in different areas and held five burglars besides recovered stolen material worth lakhs of rupees from their possession. On specific information team conducted a raid a held three burglars identified as Mohd Shabeer,Mohd Arif and Amit Sharma these were working in the Highland Motors and Shaurya Motors Jammu and recovered . |
