HM district commander among 2 arrested in Handwara

Jammu and Kashmir police and army claimed to have arrested two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen including a self styled district commander of the outfit in two separate raids from Rajpora, Rajwar Forests in Handwara area of North Kashmir.
Official sources told that on specific information a team of Handwara police in assistance of troops of 21 RR conduct raids in two separate places and arrested two HM militants. The arrested militants include the District commander HM Ali Mohammad Mir alias Khadim alias Ali Dar S/o Ghulam Hassan R/o Wader Bala Handwara.
Ali Mohammad Mir alias Khadim has been a Lashker cadre since 2003 before swapping to HM in 2005 to be elated to district commander.
One AK rifle, three magazines, 90 AK rounds, one hand grenade and 13 UBGL were recovered from his possession.
Another militant Javeed Ahmad Mir alias Asim Kamal S/o Ghulam Ahmad Mir R/o Behnipora was arrested by Handwara Police along with 6 RR in a raid conducted in Punzua Forests and recovered one AK rifle, one magazine and 30 rounds from his possession.
