| LJSP alleges power cuts during Sehri, Iftaar | | | Early Times Report

Sharply criticizing the PDD authorities for regular cuts at the time of Iftar and Sehari during Ramzan days the LOK Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) has threatened to hold protest demonstration against the PDD department foe its failure.
In a press statement issued here today LJSP Party, President Rafiq Malik has alleged that some mischievous elements in the PDD are trying to rouse communal passions among Muslims community in Jammu due to power cuts.
He said that, they have been doing so despite clear instructions from the Governor’s administration that during the period of Ramzan there would be no power cuts at the time of Sehari and Iftaar. He has asked the authorities to take stern action against the concerned PDD officers for hurting the religious sentiments and causing inconvenience by restoring power cuts at the time of Iftaar in the evening.
Malik has warned that if regular power cuts at Iftaar time are nor stopped , LJSF workers will hold picketing outside the officers Of PDD as well as block the Tawi bridge, to make their strong protest. |
