How you choose this teaching as a profession? I joined police department as ASI and went to Phillur (Punjab) for training in 1961-62. I never wanted to joint belt force and continued my studies privately from Srinagar. I resigned from service in 1964 and join Urdu Department under the guidance of Prof. Gian Chand Jain. I completed my Ph.D. in 1972 and was selected as lecturer in Urdu Department. This is how I came into this profession. Tell us more about your achievement articles, books awards etc.? I have written many books from time to time which includes Talafi (short stories), Taffakurat (criticism), Mehroom ki Shairi, Odisooz (long stories), possession of English literary trends in 20th century. How you keep an Act of balance between your profession and family life? I keep Act of balance between the two and this credit goes to my wife. I am also thankful to my children who gave me hundred percent cooperation. Life has maximum pain and little joy. I always workhard for the welfare of people. |
