KATHUA, Feb 15: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua O.P. Bhagat, today reviewed the progress of 7th Economic Census being conducted in the District.
At the outset, DSEO, Ranjeet Thakur, apprised Deputy Commissioner that the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, GOI, has extended the deadline till 31st March, 2021 for completing the census. While reviewing the progress, the Deputy Commissioner directed the representatives of the CSC to ensure that no commercial establishment or Household with economic activity remain uncovered and census be completed with 100% coverage by 31st of March, 2021.
Further, the Deputy Commissioner directed Supervisor level-I and level-II to visit the field regularly and ensure that the data captured by the enumerators is realistic and as per the guidelines of the census.
