| AG office observe Hindi Diwas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 19: The staff of the accountant general’s office here organized a three day ‘Hindi Divas’, which evoked full response from the officers and officials. Their presence in the large number was encouraging which shows that employees are enthusiastic to promote the use of Hindi in their daily official work.
Inaugurating the function, the Dy. Accountant General, K. Mathur while addressing the staff members, he exhorted the employees to take the maximum use of Hindi in their work. By doing so they will be promoting the cause of the language which is our official as well as national language. Hindi is a very rich language accepted and adopted even by countries abroad, he said. Its encouraging that now Hindi is getting popular abroad as well and in some countries it has been included in the academic curriculum which is appreciable.
Dy. A.G, Y.G Dessi from Srinagar office was also present on the occasion. A short program of songs was also presented for the entertainment of the staff which was appreciated by all. Winners were awarded with cash prizes as an incentive to the further the cause of the official language making it more rich and prosper. |
