| 50 kg poppy straw recovered, two held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Sept 19: Supwal police held two drug peddlers and held fifty kg poppy straw from their possession.Supwal police led by incharge police post Anil Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Ram Singh Charak during routine naka checking on National Highway intercepted a maruti car bearing registration number PB10U,5004 at about 12:30 am which was going to Punjab from Jammu and during checking recovered fifty kg poppy straw from the vehicle.Two drug paddlers were also arrested in this regard. They have been identified as Narinder Singh s/o Kulwant Singh and Sikatar Singh s/o Chain Singh both residents of Punjab.A case has been registered against him and their interrogation was going on to elicit more information. |
