| Degree College visits Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Sept 21: The director of colleges, Dr. N.D. Wani today paid a visit to Degree College here and hold meeting with staff members with both teaching and non-teaching.
Principal of college Prof. P.K Koul apprised the director of Grave problems facing the college, which include the removal of encroachment, construction of additional classroom block, hostel etc. Discussing the grave problem of shortage of staff on contractual basis due to delay in providing the panel, Wani made on spot direction to the Principal to engage guest faculty for the department falling short of staff. For removal of encroachment of college land, the Asstt. Commissioner (Revenue) was also present there in the college and it was assured by the District Administration to deploy the Police forces to facilitate the construction of the boundary wall by JKPCC which was earlier stopped due to hindrance created by local inhabitants. |
