| Don’t re-employ retired officials: ESE | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 21: The all J&K essential service employees (ESE) forum in a meeting have urged upon the state government to implement the recommendation of 6th pay commission in favour of state employees and pensioners.
In the meeting chaired by S. Popinder Singh said, there should be no re-employment after retirement as well educated youth are moving from pillar to post for employment. He also demanded re-organization of JMC corporation without any further delay and also regularization of JMC daily wagers. Singh also demanded enhancement in wages of daily workers from Rs 70 to Rs 150 per day on priority.
The meeting was attending by Dev Anand Gill, Ravinder Sharma, Sanjeev Bali, Balvinder Singh, Dharminder Singh, Deep Mehra, Shanker Kumar, Sunil Sobli and Paramjit Singh. |
