JAMMU, Sept 21: The inter-school competitions in girls section, scheduled for tomorrow, have been postponed by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), reason being the bandh call given by Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti on Monday.
After competing the events in girls section, the district officer Jammu, had proposed girls handball, basketball (all age groups) and hockey (under-19) for tomorrow. Now, the same events shall start from September 23 (Tuesday) at the already given time and venues, informed incharge Physical Education Teacher (PET), Rattan Sharma. |
