| Irregularities alleged in Anganwari selection | | BHADERWAH | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, Sept 22: Large scale irregularities have surfaced in the recently released, Anganwari Workers list in Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda District. The matter came to light when the chairman of the Recruitment Committee started investigating into the objections filled by the genuine candidates, who are allegedly dropped to adjust other candidates.
Sources said that at least 15 objections have been filled against the 20 selected candidates in Bhaderwah tehsil
However CDPO Bhaderwah said that they had received 10 objections so far. The objections revealed that the most of the candidates appointed were are influential and candidates belonging to other area or village. Kanchen Devi w/o Raj Dev r/o Narnoo Kursari was a meritorious BPL ,SC candidate but selection committee appointed Nadia Kousar BA part II student whose parents are teachers and does not belong either to BPL or SC category as claimed. .In another case at Village Duga Bhaderwah Rozy Bano w/o Mushtaq Ahmed of ward C was appointed in ward B throwing all rule and norms to winds, alleged Masth Nath Yogi senior citizen. The affected people have demanded justice from N N Vohra and said that fresh selection committee should be constituted so that poor may get justice. |
