9/22/2008 10:38:38 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 22: On the call of the Bar Association Jammu, the advocates abstained from the courts including the High Court of Jammu wing in support of the Bandh call given by the Sangarsh Samiti for the cause of Jammu.
Earlier a meeting of the Bar Association Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of its President Adv BS Salathia in which it was unanimously decided to abstain from work for today.
General Secretary BAJ Pawan Manni told JNF that the news-item published in a local news paper with the caption "BAJ distances from Samiti 's call" is not correct and neither a meeting was held on Saturday and nor any press release was issued by the Bar Association. According to him the BAJ warned the said newspaper to be professional in future and also condemned the news-item. JNF
