| CBI inquiry demanded in watershed projects | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU , Sept 22: Jammu United front (JUF) in a statement urged upon the governor N.N. Vohra to hold CBI inquiry that why water shed projects sanctioned for Jammu region were stopped by Congress led coalition government.
Addressing the front activists JUF President Rajesh Chandan said at it is very strange the projects were Okayed by World Bank, but then minister of the state for Forest along with project Director created obstacles in its functioning. He said these projects were sanctioned for Budhal, Dansal and Khour block the Jammu region. He requested the governor that the guilty be punished. |
