| K.C Public School excels in C.B.S.E North Zone Swimming Meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 22: K.C Public School students excelled in the CBSE North Zone Swimming Championship-2008-09 organized by Vidya Jain Public School, New Delhi. Nearly 400 participants from 75 schools of Chandigarh, Himachal Pardesh, Punjab, J&K and Delhi participated in this meet including K.C Public school. In all K.C Public school students won 14 medals- 11 silver and 3 Bronze.
Details of Medals are:-
Sheena Ganjoo- 4 silver and 1 Bronzer, Ashriya Kalra- 2 Silver, Vatsalya Singh-2 Silver, Namita Singh- 2 Silver, Rudraksh Gupta-1 Silver, Rohit Kapoor-2 Bronze, and The following students have been selected for the National Swimming Meet which will be held at Badodra, (Gujrat), from 1st November to 4th November 2008.
Rudraksh Gupta, Ashriya kalra, Sheena Ganjoo, Vatsalya Singh and Namita Singh earlier swimming teams of K.C Public School also won 62 medals (27 gold, 16 silver and 19 Bronze) in Inter School Swimming Meet conducted by J&K Youth Services and sports recently.
Principal of K.C Public school Mr. Jorawar Singh congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Swimming Coaches Choudary Ghardin and Babita Rani in a special assembly organized in the school to felicitate the medal winner. |
