| New Edu prog approved | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 22: The state government has approved a new flagship education programme to be known as Rashtriya Madhimak Shiksha Abhiyan.
Advisor to Governor Dr. S.S. Bloeria today approved the constitution of the Governing Body, Executive Committee and District Committees for initiating a new Flagship Programme in Education sector under the title "Rashtriya Madhimak Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) at a meeting held here today.
It was decided in the meeting that under RMSA a new Higher Secondary School shall be established in each Educationally Backward Block and the gaps of infrastructure like additional classrooms, laboratories, libraries, drinking water facilities, toilets and computer laboratories shall be filled. Moreover, teachers shall also be provided in the existing secondary schools.
Chief Education Officers were directed to get the data capturing formats filled up within 15 days so that a perspective plan and annual plans under RMSA are formulated. |
