Jaswant’s condition critical
LIFE FOR JAMMU CAUSE

JAMMU, Sept 23: A day after attempting self immolation, vegetable vendor, hailing from Ghagwal, Jaswant Singh, was still battling for life in the emergency ward of PGI Chandigarh. He was airlifted to the hospital after doctors in government medical college hospital here referred him to PGI Chandigarh.
According to one of the close relatives Jagdish, the condition of Jaswant continues to be critical in Chandigarh. He is not in a condition to talk to anyone, he added.
"Doctors attending on him have not admitted him in the burns ward since Monday evening".
Jagdish said Jaswant was still undergoing treatment and was put under observation in the emergency ward of the hospital. It may be mentioned that Jaswant attempted self immolation on Monday inside his shop.
He was dejected and not happy with the treatment meted out to the leaders of the Sanagarsh Samiti by the state police outside Abhinav theatre before he took extreme step.
