| Sadhotra tours Rajouri areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Sept 23: National Conference is committed for decentralization of powers to the grass root level in all the regions of the state, said Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province while addressing a meeting of senior leaders and prominent workers of Rajouri, Budhal and Darhal Assembly Constituency at Rajouri today, which was organized by Bashir Ahmed Wani, District President.
He said National Conference is of the firm commitment that power should percolate down below so that people could decide on their own how to utilize the resources judiciously.
"National Conference has always and will always stand for equitable development of all the three regions of the state’, he said adding that for fast development peace and communal brotherhood is imperative.
He said it is unfortunate that disruptive forces are making efforts to weaken the secular fabric of the state and are trying to divide the state on communal and regional lines.
Sadhotra said National Conference is committed for strong united state and is firmly committed for strengthening communal brotherhood. He lauded the role of people of Jammu region for frustrating the evil designs of such forces who are bent upon in disturbing peace of the state and the region.
It is high time that people should unite to strengthen communal brotherhood, unity and integration of the state; he said adding that National Conference is committed for socio-economic and political development of all the sections of the society of the state.
Among others whoaddressed the meeting included Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Ram Paul, Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Mohd Aslam Khan, Ch. Liaqat Ali and Parvez Ahmed. |
