| Common facilities under ‘AYUSH’ on cards | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 23: The Controller, Drugs and Food Control Organization, J&K (Licensing Authority) convened a meeting of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathic (AYUSH) Drugs Manufacturing Units of Jammu Division.
Threadbare discussion was held on “Scheme for Development of AYUSH Clusters”. It was decided that common facilities under the project will be set up for undertaking manufacture, testing, standardization and quality control of AYUSH Drugs which shall be the main object of the scheme. Under the scheme 60 percent of the project cost, subject to a maximum project cost of Rs.10 crores, shall be borne by Government of India
The manufactures were asked to come up with definite proposal for setting up of facilities for AYUSH Industries Clusters Development which would also provide, among other things, employment to youth of the State. |
