| Work on Kali Bari road lagging | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sept 23: Reviewing the progress registered on various schemes under execution in the district at a meeting here today, the District Development Commissioner Mandeep Kour has enjoined upon the officers to maintain proper inter-department coordination for expeditiously completing these projects. She also exhorted for timely projection of funds for the ongoing works and also for proposed projects. She expressed discontent over the delay in executing the works on Kali Bari- Hatli Morh road via Kathua to be constructed by ERA, delay in issuing the forest clearance for major road projects.
The DDC further asked the engineers to provide status report of Nagri- Parole road and old Samba- Kathua road so that works can be resumed for their restoration. She minutely reviewed the progress of all the departments and their achievements till date and exhorted for timely utilization of the allocations. |
