| 5 from Information Service get into KAS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Sept 25: Five officers from Information Service, Madan Mantoo, Shakeel Ahmad Taing, Mohammad Yaseen Khan, Shahida Mustafa and Gulzar Ahmad Dar have been inducted into Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS). Their induction was approved by the State Administrative Council in its meeting presided over by the Governor N. N. Vohra here on Wednesday.
Information Officers, Abid Hussain, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Dr. N. A. Lone, Namrita Dogra and Pran Singh have recently been promoted to Selection Grade, while as Shaheen Khan and Mohammad Akbar Khan were placed as Information Officers.
The officers and officials of the Department of Information and Public Relations have felicitated their colleagues who have been inducted into Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS), promoted to Selection Grade and placed as Information Officers.
The Director Information congratulating the officers on their promotion expressed the hope that they would work now with a greater dedication and bring in further improvement in the functioning of the Department.
Officer's Association of Information Department (OAID) has also felicitated the promoted officers. The efforts put in by the former Director Information Zaffar Ahmad in piloting the cases of promotion of the officers were also hailed. |
