BJP appeals people to help avoid resurge of Covid
3/20/2021 11:56:55 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appealed masses to remain vigilant and strictly adhere to the Covid appropriate behaviour in view of large number of fresh cases being reported from many states including our neighbour Punjab.
“With the process of vaccination in progress, there is a general belief and tendency that Corona has vanished. As a result of which people have become careless and stopped adhering to various protective measures that were mandated for every citizen. Leave alone social distancing, people are seen moving freely without face masks as well,” asserted Brig Veteran Anil Gupta, Spokesperson of the Party.
There has been a sudden spike in our UT as well during this week. To ensure that normal life continues and the need for lock down does not arise every citizen will now have to act as a front line warrior by keeping himself safe and ensuring those around him also strictly adhere to the laid down Covid appropriate behaviour which includes wearing of face masks, frequent hand washing and use of sanitizers as well as maintaining social distancing. Keeping in view the fresh surge and upcoming festivals it would be in interest of the community that every member religiously adheres to these norms stated Brig Gupta.
It is imperative on part of the administration to ensure strict compliance not only by individuals but also of various protocols and SOPs issued by it from time to time. BJP has also urged its karyakartas to actively undertake this social responsibility by educating and motivating the people to adhere to the SOPs and strictly implement Covid appropriate behaviour. BJP also appealed to those who are eligible for the Covid vaccination to register themselves and get vaccinated at the earliest. All vaccinations are equally effective and there are known side effects which are routine in nature and hence there is no need to pay heed to any types of rumours.
