EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 27:
The general secretary J&K Milchar Front, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, has critising the administration led by governor N.N. Vohra for not providing funds to the various departments in Jammu region deleting voters from lists by projecting them double registration. He alleged that pace of development works has stalled and a conspiracy is being hatched against Jammu by some agencies with in the government.
As per a press release Rao has pointed out the process of preparing fresh electoral rolls, voter I-cards etc was still going in the state but unfortunately the recent release of number of the deleted voters in Jammu smells of some conspiracy as such as a higher number of voters have been shown deleted.
Rao alleged that governor is spending most of the time and funds in Kashmir and hardly bother to take the review of works in Jammu region. The works in various departments were stalled and the funds were not being released. The problems of the Jammu people are being aggravated and the govt machinery seems to have gone to grinding halt while districts are suffering for the wants of funds.
