| Tax Bar discuss issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 27: Tax Bar Association (TBA) called an emergency meeting of its executive today under the chairmanship of advocate Rakesh Kapahi to discuss issue of extension of time for filling audit report under J&K Vat Act 2005.
The matter has already been brought to the notice of state govt and concerned departments.
The executive body and association has impressed upon the govt to extend the date of Vat Audit Report and filling in view of the three months long disturbance including bandhs and curfew in the state. The association also thanked the central govt for extending filing of Audit Report under Income Tax Act till 30th Nov, 2008 due to above reasons. In the state authorities to adhere to the request made by association earlier and extend the date of audit report and filling thereof up to 30th Nov at par with income tax cases. |
