| March taken on tourism day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 27: The centre for hospitality and tourism management (CHTM), University Of Jammu celebrated “world tourism day” here today. The students, scholars, alumni and faculty members of CHTM along with the industry members undertook a march to create awareness among the citizens of Jammu about the theme of the world tourism day ie “tourism regarding to the challenge of climate challenge”. The march started from the university main Gate and covered at Gandhi Nagar. The march was supported with signature campaign and putting up of world tourism day logo badges.
Prof. Deepak Raj Gupta, director CHTM said that the tourism is one of the few sectors that cuts across a whole range of economic and social activities. |
