| RJMLS demands creation of urdu section in JKAACL | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept:The executive members of ‘Rasa Javdani Memorial literary society’ (RJMLS) have urged upon the state administration to create urdu section in the J&K academy of art, culture and languages. While addressing the members of the society its president Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik said that previous government did nothing for popularizing the urdu language, though being a official language. He said, it is a matter of great concern that in the academy no urdu section has been created, though there are separate sections for Dgor, Gojri, and Pahari languages. He said cultural academy in supposed to promote languages of the state which include Urdu also. The meeting among other was attended by Ayaz Rasool Nazki, K.K. Raina, Thakur Aseer Kishtwari, Dr. Tamkeen who appealed the Governor N. N Vohra personally look into the matter. |
