BYDC urges people to assist govt in fighting Covid-19

JAMMU, Apr 5: The Batwal Youth Development Committee (BYDC) members toured various places in Tawi island and urged the people to assist the government in fighting against Covid-19. It said, to maintain social distancing is the most effective way of protecting themselves.
The Committee head Tilak Raj Bassa said, everyone has to protect himself and his family and for the next many days, he needs to abide by the Lakshman Rekha. Bassa maintained, the determination and restraint of each individual will aid in facing the crisis. He held, mankind will have to rise unitedly in the resolve to exterminate this virus which poses a threat to annihilate the human race. While R L Kaith said, in order to battle Corona in a country of one hundred and thirty crore people, there is no other option but to go for lockdown. Kaith emphasized that the fight against Corona is between life and death and that is why such strong measures have to be resorted to. Looking at what the world is going through, this is the only way left, said Kaith adding that the safety of people has to be ensured.
