SAMBA, Apr 7: Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Samba Suram Chand Sharma, today imposed a fine of Rs. 52000 (Fifty two thousand) on Food Business Operators (FBOs) for violating prescribed norms under Food Safety and Standard Act. (FSSA).
The FBOs were booked and summoned before the Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Samba who is also the Adjudicating officer for Food Safety Act. A fine of Rs 52000/- (Fifty Two thousand) was imposed on FBOs for supplying Mis-branded/Substandard Food items. He also exhorted upon the designated Officer Food Safety and Food Safety Officer to generate awareness among Food Business Operators regarding the observance of Food Safety norms enshrined in Food Safety and Standard Act. |
