| Jammu to get fertilizer depot | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30- The Union Minister for Fertilizer and Steel, and national president Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) Ram Vilas Paswan who is visiting Jammu next month will announce setting up of fertilizer depot in the winter capital.
Disclosing this at a news conference here today the State President LJSP, Rafiq Malik said that opening of this depot in Jammu will-facilitate the easy availability of fertilizer to the farmers in the region, while at the same time will give employment to many people.
Malik said that setting up of steel plant in Srinagar, the foundation stone of which was laid by Paswan on September 22, is going to provide employment to 7000-8000 local youth. He said the party will strive that at least one member of every family gets gainful employment.
Dinesh Verme Vice President, Surjeet Singh Chib State Secretary General, Dayal Singh State Gen Secretary, Shariq Khan, State General Secretary were also present on the occasion. |
