RAMBAN, Apr 8: As many as 2490 persons were administered first and second Covid vaccine doses across Ramban district today. The Health Department also collected 1049 samples including 468 RT-PCR and 581 RAT samples in the district.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Farid Bhat, 2490 persons, the highest in a single day in the district, were administered Covid vaccine today at dedicated Vaccination Centres.
The District Administration Department has urged people over the age of 45 years to visit their nearest CVC to get vaccinated. It has also intensified the drives to enforce face mask wearing at crowded places to prevent the infection from spreading. |
