| Panthers to sue ERA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 30:Harsh Dev Singh, former minister and chief spokesman of JKNPP has served a notice upon the chief executive officer of the Economic Reconstruction in the early construction and the completion of Udhampur-Ramnagar double land road. He said that the road was assured to be completed by the ending 2008 but negligible progress was registered on the ground. He accused the managing Director JKPCC of the apthetic and in different attitude in the construction of the double lane bridges on the said road. He said JKNPP is going to file public interest litigation (PIL) against ERA and JKPCC authorities in the case they did not expedite work on the road and bridges with in a fort night and ensured their immediate completion. He further asked ERA to ensure their immediate repairs and maintaince of the said road, which has been badly damaged at the various places and rendered un-trafficable. He said that besides serving a notice on the said agencies, the Panthers Party had also apprised the governor and the advisors about their poor performance and negligent attitude. He also expressed grave concern over the non-release of the honorium of the Village Defense Committee (VDC). |
