| Hold elections after delimitation of constituencies: TTDF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 1:The President, Tehsil Thathri Development Front (TTDF) Kuldeep Kumar Rao appealed to all political parties to stress upon the government to give practical shape to the process of delimitation for assembly and parliamentary constituencies of state and hold election thereafter. He said that equitable representation is the rule based on justice and principle. The delimitation is the need of the hour so that the populace of the Province shall have active share in the participation of the democratic process.
He said National Conference, Congress, PDP has felt that there is flaw in the distribution of seats, but put it to the condition that if they get 2/3 majority then they will push forward the process of the Delimitation commission. This precondition nullifies the process that stops the justice to prevail. Being Governor in the state rule and elections are to follow hence it is right time every party to stress upon the government to give practical shape to the process and hold election there after. |
