| RTO conducts surprise check on NH | | |
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 11 -Regional Transport Officer, Jammu Mr S.C Sawhney along with a team comprising of Mr Mohammad Saleem and Mr. Rattan Singh, MVIs conducted surprise checking on National Highway at Samba and other places.
During the course of checking, about 195 vehicles were checked of which 94 vehicles were compounded and an amount of Rs 2.63 lacs realized as compound money for different violations of Motor Vehicle Act. The RTO directed the transport operators to operate their vehicles on road with proper and valid documents. |
