| Student hangs self to death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 1: In a shocking incident a student of a private college was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her rented room in the town here today.
A Bed college student committed suicide here at Nanak Nagar area under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station. The girl identified as Gursharan Kour daughter of Sukhdev Singh and resident of Surankote, a student of Khalsa BEd college, was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
She was taken to GMC hospital for post mortem. The deceased was living on rent in the area with her younger brother who is also a student of BSC information technology. Her brother came from college and found his sister hanging from a ceiling fan. He informed the police station about the incident. Police after having information reached on the spot and took the body to hospital for postmortem. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. |
