| TD College organizes lecture on wildlife conservation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4: an extension lecture on ‘Wildlife Conservation’on the eve of to mark wildlife conservation week was organized by ‘Trikuta degree college’ at Nandni Raipur, Bantalab road here today.
Dr. D.N Sahi, Deptt. of Zoology, University of Jammu who was the resource person on the occasion educated the gathering about the main constituents which comes under wildlife. He said most of the natural calamities like floods, earthquakes etc. have direct link with ecological imbalance. He said wildlife conservation is the most important step that humans can take to curb natural disasters and suggested various measures how to conserve wildlife. Chairman of the college Dr. Roop Lal Sharma on the occasion explained various initiatives taken by the college management to revive the ecosystem of the area surrounding the college. Vote of thanks was presented by Principal of the college, Dr. Gayatri Gupta. |
