AYUSH Ramban organise awareness camp at Gandhri

RAMBAN, Apr 24: Department of Indian System of Medicine, AYUSH today organized a free medical-cum- awareness camp at Panchyat Gandhri to sensitize the PRIs and general public regarding Covid preventive measures.
Such programmes are being organized in the district under the aegis of the Director ISM Jammu.
Besides sensitizing the people, the Department also distributed AYUSH immunity booster medicines among the general public in village Gandhri and Batli.
While making people aware, Medical Officer Dr. Sayeema Choudhary gave a detailed briefing on the importance of strong immunity in fighting against COVID-19.
She also informed about the initiatives and measures undertaken by the ISM, AYUSH to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. She urged them to follow Covid SoPs including wearing face masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance.
Doctors also urged the people to take Covid 19 vaccination at their nearest Covid Vaccination Centres which is the only option to prevent themselves from deadly infection.
