| BJP’s swabhimaan rally on Oct 12 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 5: The state Unit of the BJP is organizing Swabhimaan rally at Gole Market Gandhi Nagar here on October 12 to expose the Congress, PDP, NC for their role during the two month long agitation in Jammu.
Addressing party workers and the residents of ward No. 10 held at Purani Mandi, state secretary Yudhvir Sethi said that Jammu-based leaders of these parties have betrayed the people of Jammu for their personal gains and to please their Kashmiri masters. He urged the gathering to reach the rally venue to know themselves the misdeeds of these parties.
BJP District President Rajesh Gupta and JMC Corporator of BJP from Ward No.10 Priya Sethi were also present in the meeting.
Yudhvir Sethi, said that today’s meeting has been called to make aware the people of Jammu city about the significance of the October 12 Swabhimaan rally. He said the party has been organizing such rallies at constituency levels for the last few days to expose the Congress, NC and PDP for their role during the 2 month agitation.
Rajesh Gupta, in his address, said that the coming elections are very crucial for the Jammu people as they are going to get an opportunity to teach the anti-Jammu and pro-Kashmir leaders from Jammu a lesson. He said the BJP has been fighting for the cause of Jammu and has become voice of the Jammuites. He said the need of the day is to strengthen the hands of BJP as it will automatically mean the victory of the nationalist forces in the state.
Priya Sethi, on this occasion, appreciated the role of the women in the recent agitation and urged them to get united to ensure defeat of all such parties which were responsible for hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindus.
Shiv Kumar Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Anil Masoom, Bittu Pradhan, Pawan Pandoh, Kapil Kohli, Ramji Aggarwal, Vikrant Singh, Ajay Kumar and Rinku were prominent among those who addressed the meeting. |
