| 2000 vehicles stranded on NH | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 6: Over 2,000 vehicles were stranded on the Jammu-Srinagar highway today due to suspension of vehicular traffic by authorities in view of curfew in the Kashmir valley and the ongoing repair work of the Jawahar tunnel.
"The vehicular traffic has been suspended today on highway between Kashmir and Jammu in view of the curfew imposed in Kashmir and repair work of Jawahar tunnel currently being undertaken by Border Road organisation (BRO)," police said.
The traffic would be resumed after the repair work, the police added. |
