| BJP challenges all parties | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 6: State BJP today predicted that the forthcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir would prove to be a waterloo for Congress, NC and PDP expressed its optimism that BJP will form the government on its own dictates. Addressing a massive rally organized by the Khour Mandal of BJP, former State President Daya Krishan Kotwal, said that the time has come when the people of Jammu region should get united to ensure end of discrimination being meted out to them for the last 61 year. State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, in his address, criticized the local Congress leaders for being non-serious towards the mitigation of the problems of poor, needy and members of SC community. He said the deserving poor, old aged people and widows have to run from one table to other for months together for the pension from social welfare department while those having links with the Congress leaders are getting pensions regularly even though they are well off. |
