| Two killed, 20 injured in a road mishap in Udhampur | | | SARITA JAMWAL
UDHAMPUR, Oct 6 : Two persons were killed while twenty others were seriously injured in a road accident that took place in Majalta area of Udhampur today.
According to reports, two persons were killed while20 others sustained injuries when a mini bus bearing number7189/JK02Din which they were traveling, turned turtle near Majalta today.
Police team led by SHO Majalta reached the accident site and started rescue operations. All the injured were shifted to hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
Two killed in accident were identified as Mohan Lal son of Sandokhu Ram and Isher Dass son of Paras Ram, both residents of Barnara Majalta.
According to the injured and some of the locals, the mini bus was overload and was being rashly driven when accident took place. They also alleged the there is no traffic checking on the route and minibuses use to overload which finally results in accident. |
