| Mufti urges Manmohan, Musharraf to resume dialogue | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | SEPT 11 Urging Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to resume dialogue process with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, former chief minister and Patron PDP, Mufti Mohd. Sayeed said that it was imperative for the restoration of complete peace in the region and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. According to press release Mufti said that much headway has been made in normalization of relations between two neighbouring countries the past and dialogue process needs to be carried forward most speedily to address the problems once for all and to end hostilities and usher a new er4a of reconciliation, cooperation, peace and prosperity. He hoped that there would be a constructive meeting between both of them on the sideline of NAM in Havana. He stated this while addressing two days organizational meeting of senior party leaders here and he directed them to conduct intensive tours of remote areas. He further disclosed that he would be himself conducting tours of various parts of the Jammu region in coming few day’s. Leaders present in the meeting briefed Mufti about the progress achieved in the registration of new membership of Jammu province. Those who were present in the meeting included: S.Rangil Singh, Senior Party Leader, S.Trilok Singh Bajwa (MP) S.Manjit Singh, MoS Education, Romesh Mottan, General Secretary PDP, Jammu Province, Ved Mahajan, MLC, Shanti Devi, MLA, Bilal Lodhi, MLC and others.
