PK to observe Martyrs’ Day on Sept 14

Panun Kashmir (PK) in its general council meeting chaired by Chairman Dr Ajay Chrungoo finalized the programme for the forthcoming Martyrs’ Day to be observed on September, 14, was held here today.
According to press release, wile addressing the activists Dr. Chrungoo emphasized the need for involvement of all people who believe in national integrity. He said the best way of paying tributes to martyrs’ will be to launch a massive nationwide awareness campaign to evole a integrated response to fight the terrorism. Chrungoo added that this years Martyrs’ Day is falling in the aftermath of serial Mumbai blasts. He said these serial blasts underline the spillover of Islamic terrorism to the whole of country, and find it befitting to dedicate this years Martyrs’ Day to the victims of terrorism across the country. He said that all the national forces irrespective of their political affiliation will have to jointly fight the menace of terror, and added that Panun Kashmir has already launched a massive awareness campaign in form of seminar, rallies, prabhat pheries, and holding of photo exhibition at different places in the country.
On the occasion Kuldeep Raina general secretary PK said that this year Panun Kashmir is organizing a symposium “Terrorism and Nation’s response” at Abhinav Theatre Jammu on 14th September AM. He further informed that Chowdhary Lal Singh (Member Parliament) will be the chief guest besides Prof. Hari Om Vice-President State BJP, will preside over the function. He further said that Swami Amritanand Jee Maharaj, Shankaracharya of Sharda Peeth has consented to bless the gathering on the occasion.
