| Speaker discusses developmental issues with Advisor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Tara Chand today discussed with the Advisor to Governor C. Phunsog various issues relating to the development schemes presently underway in Khour block.
The other issues which also figured during the discussion included enhancement in the wages of daily rated employees working in PHE and other departments in Jammu division from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2100, implementation of recommendations of 6th Pay Commission, raising the retirement age of employees from 58 to 60 years and filling up of all vacancies on fast track basis.
Speaker apprised the Adviser that various deputations of employees met him in Jammu and raised these demands before him. He asked him to address these issues on priority basis. He also sought regularization of all daily wagers who have completed seven years of service. |
