| Karan Singh offer prays at Raghunath temple | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 9: Dr Karan Singh, Chairman Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust today visited the Raghunath temple and prayed before the Lord Rama for the welfare of people of the country and of state in particular.
At the temple he offered a precious necklace as thank-Giring offer for Maharaj’s (Smt Karan Singh) recovery from serious illness this year. He also went around the temple premises and enquired about various arrangements including security on the occasion he congratulated the new premises of ‘Stri Uoyog Karyalaya’ a institution set up by the Maharani for the welfare of destitute and un-employed women.
A some of Rs. Two lakhs were also distributed by the Maharaja as financial help to various social institution. |
