| Ex BJP, MLA’s son joins congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 9 : The BJP received a set back today as its state unit president of the OBC wing Vaishno Dass Dogra joined Congress party along with hundreds of BJP workers hee today. He is son of ex-MLA Hansraj Dogra.
PCC president Prof. Saif Ud din Soz welcomed Dogra in party. Speaking on the occasion Dogra expressed full faith in the policies and programmes of Congress party and said that he would dedicatedly work for the Congress party under the leadership of Prof. Saif Ud Din Soz in the state. He said that he is impressed by the policies of congress party and dedication of its leaders. He had special words of praise for MP Madan Lal Sharma.
Addressing the newly joined workers, PCC chief asked them to imbibe in the spirit of service to the people which is the aim of congress party and its leader Sonia Gandhi. He said that Congress is the only party which ensured progress and prosperity of the nation and the state in particular. |
