| No-confidence motion against JURSEA President | | |

In a meeting of departmental representatives and senior research scholars of Jammu University (JU), convened by JURSEA convener Bandhan Sharma, no confidence motion was passed against the JURSEA President Sandeep Sandy for his alleged failure to mitigate the problems of research scholars.
The meeting was attended by 19 Departmental Representatives (DR) and an equal number of senior research scholars. JURSEA vice president, Anuradha Goswami was also present in the meeting. In the meeting all DR’s and research scholars expressed unhappiness over the working of JURSEA President and passed no confidence motion against him. Meanwhile, the decision has been left on Sandy to prove his majority or quit the position. Bandhan Sharma while addressing the scholars criticizes Sandy for his self-styled functioning and pro administration approach.
It is to be mentioned that Sandeep Sandy was elected as President of JURSEA eight months ago. But, so far he has done nothing for the betterment of research scholars.
