| Minor reshuffle in admn | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 10: The government has affected a minor reshuffle on lower rung of administration. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Vipan Kumari, Private Secretary with Dr. H.L. Goswami, Member, J&K Public Service Commission is transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Jammu against an available vacancy. Joginder Singh, Private Secretary with Financial Commissioner, Revenue is transferred and posted as Special Assistant with Financial Commissioner, (Agrarian Reforms) against an available vacancy. Ghulam Nabi Ganai, Private Secretary with Commissioner/Secretary to Government Power Development Department is posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Power Development Department against an available vacancy. Ghulam Rasool Gilkar (OSC), Private Secretary with Chairman, Board of Professional Entrance Examination is transferred and posted as Project Officer, Watershed Rural Development Department, Budgam against an available vacancy. The order further said that sanction has also accorded to the placement of Banarsi Lal (SC), Private Secretary with Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development Department as Principal Private Secretary with Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development Department. A reserve post of KAS from the overall cadre strength of the service is also transferred to the planning and Development Department for drawal of salary of Shri Banarsi Lal during the period, he remains posted in the Planning and Development Department. P.C. Rathore (RBA), Private Secretary with Advisor (T) to H.E the Governor as Principal private Secretary with Advisor (T). A reserve post of KAS from the overall cadre strength of the service is transferred to the Higher Education Department for drawal of salary of Shri P.C. Rathore during the period, he remains posted in the personal section of the Advisor (T) to the Governor. It is further ordered that the above arrangements are made purely on stop-gap basis and in the interest of administration and shall not confer any preferential right on these offices for promotion as and when appointment/promotions to the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) are made under rules; and placement of these officers on higher posts shall be in their own pay and grade and they shall retain lien in their parent service. |
